the complete recording of Al-Âla repertory, the classical Arabo-andalusian
tradition from Morocco which is composed of 11 vocal and instrumental
suites, the Nûba. Vocals, rbab, violins, violas, lutes, cello
and percussion instruments.
The Nûba 'Irâq al-'Ajam is recorded here by the Tangiers
Orchestra, conducted by Ahmed Zaytouni Sahraoui. Total time: 7h20mn.
This nûba, thanks to its melodic richness as well as its expressive
depth, is a true masterpiece of inner emotion.
